PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

For work safety and protection of company assets (i.e. to prevent the risk of theft, damage, tampering), surveillance cameras are installed outside our company which, inevitably, collect the personal data (image) of anyone who enters the visual range of the cameras, duly indicated by signs placed near the shooting perimeter. The function of the signs is to warn you that, once you have passed the indicated limit, your image will be video recorded. The legal basis of the processing is the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (article 6, paragraph 1, letter f, of the GDPR), for the purposes indicated above. Your personal data will not be subject to any automated decision-making process, including profiling.

RECIPIENTS

Your data will not be disclosed and will not be transferred to Member States of the European Union or to third countries outside the European Union.

RETENTION PERIOD

Recorded images are retained for 72 hours, except for specific requirements for further retention due to holidays or office or business closures, or in the event of a specific investigative request from judicial authorities or police forces.
After these periods, the images are automatically deleted.

OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA AND CONSEQUENCES: Providing data is mandatory and strictly necessary for access to the premises. Failure to provide data will result in the company premises not being accessible.
